Bursary Applications Extended to 8 August 2016

Bursary

There is still time left to apply for financial help to attend the Victorian Museums & Galleries Conference (Cowes Cultural Centre, Phillip Island, 6-7 October 2016).  IT'S NOT TOO LATE. Bursary applications now close  Monday 8 August (5pm AEST).

The conference is incorporating the Regional, Remote and Community Museums Day traditionally held at the Museums Australia National Conference. A number of bursaries are available to support regional, remote and community museum and gallery colleagues, and colleagues from Keeping Places to attend the Conference. Funding for these bursaries has been generously provided to the Museums Australia National Office by the Australian Federal Government Ministry for the Arts.

Funding is to assist with travel and registration costs. Per diem expenses, accommodation costs, wage reimbursement and sundries are not eligible for funding.
To apply, please download the attached bursary application form and email the completed form to our National Office bursaries@museumsaustralia.org.au

You will not only meet colleagues from Victoria but be able to network with museum workers from across Australia.
